The practice has done its utmost to be easily accessible and user-friendly for our disabled and wheelchair-bound patients. There are designated parking spaces in the car park and a wheelchair is available for those with difficulty in walking – this can be obtained through our reception Staff. Patients using wheelchairs or electric scooters will find it much easier to access the surgery from the main car park. The car park in Victoria Passage is often very full and access to the ramp on that side of the building cannot be guaranteed.
There is a ramp at the surgery entrance to aid wheelchair access and surgery rooms are all located on the ground floor. There are also toilet facilities for the disabled in the main ground floor corridor.
An induction loop is available to help the hard of hearing.
If you experience any problems, please speak to our reception staff, who will do their utmost to assist you.
Other Access Issues
- Dogs – all dogs, with the exception of assistance dogs, should be left outside the building.
- Smoking – the building is a non-smoking building.
We would also request that patients do not eat, drink or use their mobile telephones whilst waiting for their appointments.
